Event Details

This year aims to get practical. What might a discplemaking church look like? How do we know if we’re meeting or missing the mark, and what can we do to get there? This series of discussions will begin with ourselves and move outward as we consider those we develop and disciple, our families, small groups, congregations, and our broader community. How can we be with, become like, and ultimately do what Jesus did in all of these settings? All pastors are encouraged to join, contribute to, and learn from these practical conversations aimed at encouraging sustained, reproductive disciplemaking in our churches.

We’ll set the table for this series in our first discussion on February 13. The foundation of a disciplemaking culture is individual personal commitment to an abiding life in Christ -- how are we doing in this area (both personally, and in our congregations) and what best practices can we learn from to be more effective?

Please note, our time and location are both changing. Based on your feedback, we’ll meet from 1-3 PM moving forward. The Westerville COHATCH has graciously agreed to host us this year in their Garden Room. We'll have beverages, a light snack, a deep discussion, and a great time. Please RSVP -- see you there!

Special Invitation - Has someone in your congregation been impacted by cancer? Would you like to know how better to come alongside congregants struggling with a difficult diagnosis, and be a light to those in your community? Take Heart Cancer Community is a Christian ministry aimed to share the hope of Christ with those who have been impacted by cancer. They do this primarily through eight-week Christ-centered support groups hosted by local churches. If you are interested in hearing more about how this unique and important ministry could come alongside your congregation, join us for this informational discussion over a provided lunch, directly preceding the Pastors Discipleship Network kickoff for 2025. Click here for more information or to RSVP.
