Lunch Series -- 5 Principles for Everyday Disciplemaking
Relational, life-on-life discipleship can feel intimidating if you haven't experienced it yourself (and even if you have!). Bill Mowry, longtime practitioner, coach, and author, breaks down what this can look like in five simple and memorable principles.

It's easy to wax philosophical about disciplemaking. Everyone has a different theory, a Biblical word study, ideas. Much harder is practical, approachable content and principles from someone who has actually done it well, and helped others to do the same. Yet, every couple of months someone new asks us, "Have you read Bill Mowry's book? It helped me understand discipleship more than anything else."
If you are an everyday Christian, someone involved in ministry, a pastor, a practitioner of life-on-life discipleship, or someone who might like to be, this talk is for you!
Bill Mowry has spent decades in ministry making disciples with Navigators, years on Navigators Church Ministries staff helping churches to develop disciplemaking strategies in their own contexts, and has churned out a couple of incredibly practical books along the way. His most recent book, Five Principles for Everyday Disciplemaking, is an approachable guide for anyone who aims to invest spiritually in the lives of others.
The Columbus Discipleship Network meets the third Thursday of the month for inspiration, equipping, and community for everyday disciplemakers. A catered lunch is provided free of charge, but we do ask that you RSVP. Feel free to invite anyone you think may benefit.
