Event Details
"For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." - 2 Timothy 4:3
Recently, demographers have noted the sharp increase of people who don't identify with any religion at all. As our culture shifts away from Judeo-Christian beliefs, values, and even basic assumptions, it can feel harder and harder to reach and disciple people into a robust Christian faith. The assumption and rise of a deeply anti-Christian secularism can feel discouraging and even threatening to those of us working to build God's Kingdom. How can and should our approach adapt and change to meet these increasing challenges?
Brandon Grant, Holistic Engagement Director for Harambe Christian School, came out of a post-Christian background and is committed to radically engaging this part of our culture. An engaging speaker, he walks the walk, and has lots of wisdom in this area. Join us to hear his insights!
PLEASE NOTE: We'll meet at the Polaris COHATCH for the 2024-2025 season.
Columbus Discipleship Network meets the third Thursday of the month (second Tuesday in Nov & Dec) for inspiration, equipping, and community for everyday disciplemakers. A catered lunch is provided free of charge, but we do ask that you RSVP. Feel free to invite anyone you think may benefit.
